Our Cinema is the movie-night app for two or more. Most movie apps are built around strangers’ reviews and public ratings. Ours is built around the people on your couch. It started as a note on my phone where my partner and I listed every movie we watched together. Now it’s one shared home for couples, friends and families who are tired of scrolling for an hour and never agreeing on what to watch. Everyone in your cinema (up to 8 people) adds to one shared watchlist. Fair turns track whose pick it is, so everyone’s taste gets a night. After each movie, it goes in your shared diary with everyone’s ratings, and over time that becomes a record of your movie nights together. Want to watch something alone? Just Me gives you a free solo queue too. Our Cinema is free to start, and you don’t need a card. Premiere ($2.99/month or $24.99/year, with a 14-day free trial) covers your whole cinema and adds extras like seeing how your scores compare with other members. It works in any browser and you can add it to your phone’s home screen like an app, so there’s no app store download. No public review feed, just you, your people, and what you’ll watch next.
