Questions people ask
What is DiscoveryLoop?
DiscoveryLoop (discoveryloop.live) is a discovery platform for AI tools and software products: makers list their product for free, the community votes, and every product keeps a living page that outlives launch day.
Is DiscoveryLoop the same as Discovery Loop, Jeff Dean's AI lab?
No. DiscoveryLoop at discoveryloop.live is an independent AI tools discovery platform founded in 2026 by Joyal George in Kerala, India. Discovery Loop PBC at discoveryloop.com is a separate AI research company with no connection to this site.
Is it free to list a product on DiscoveryLoop?
Yes. Listing is free and publishes immediately. An optional Premium Launch adds a featured day and a verified badge, but it never changes a product's rank: votes are never for sale.
How is DiscoveryLoop different from Product Hunt?
Product Hunt is built around a single launch day. On DiscoveryLoop a product keeps one page that the maker keeps updating, with votes, comments and the build journey attached, so tools stay discoverable long after launch.
How are products ranked?
By real votes from signed-in people. Sponsored placements are always labeled and never affect ranking.
